I'll be back...

So I have taken a short hiatus from the picture challenge... Life got busy. In other words, the weather got nicer and snow days stopped occurring!

I actually have had to go to work lately... which has been wonderful! I LOVE my kids.

On Valentine's Day, one little girl responded to another child who wanted to know if they were receiving Valentine's presents that they didn't need presents. I was their present. All together now... Awwwwwwwwwww.

Then things got crazy.

Found out yesterday that my aunt from mom's second marriage was in a serious accident Monday morning and was flown to the hospital in Columbia. She was stopping behind a van that was stopping for a school bus. A truck didn't see them stopping and creamed her. Pushing her into the van in front of her. So I jumped in the car and headed to Columbia to see her.

And today my cousin from my mom's current marriage had open heart surgery. They discovered he had an ascending aortic anyeurism about a month ago. As well as a clot in his lung. They had to wait for the clot to pass before surgery. Things went well and reports are that surgery went perfectly. His brother in law passed out outside his ICU room though so prayers for his wife's family are welcome. I haven't heard yet what caused him to pass out.

So life has been busy and I've been simply exhausted. So when I am no longer ready to pass out, I will resume the picture challenge. Don't count on it this week. Work at Walgreens after school tomorrow and Friday. Maybe Saturday or Sunday I'll be up to it.
