No Picture

Today's picture is supposed to be something I wish I could change. But I don't know if such a picture exists.

The thing I'd like to change is the way I left things with a friend a few years back. We parted on not so friendly terms with a bit of name calling and unsettled issues. I've not heard from her since but I do still occasionally talk to her fiance and our other mutual friends. I wish we'd both been more patient and understanding. And not let our anger get the best of us.

Recently, I've been thinking of her a lot. I work with a girl that reminds me of her. And then of course there are certain moments when it's unavoidable to think about her. Especially when I walk past Nessie at the outlet mall.

Despite the way things turned out, she wasn't a bad person. She had stuff going on and I wish I'd been a better friend to her during her time of need.
