SPRING!

I'm happy to finally be starting my "spring break." It's really only an extended weekend, but that's fine by me right now. Just a couple days off will be nice and give me a chance to a) catch up on school work b) relax and take those mental health days I referenced a few weeks ago and c) have some fun!

There's so much I want to do but so little time.... tomorrow will be spent at school. But Cassadilla, why are you going to school on one of your few precious days off? To make my few precious remaining school days much easier. Then Friday, I'll head to Springfield where I will see J-Rizzle's show Saturday night and hang out with my best friend, BriBri. Then Sunday, I shall head to St. Louis to spend the Easter holiday with my mom and family. Then Monday evening, head back to the lake to start school refreshed on Tuesday. I'll be a state traveller!

It is so scary to think there are less than thirty days of school left this year! I feel there is still so much to do... so much left to teach... so much left to learn!

Today we did jelly bean math where we sorted, graphed, measured, and created math facts from real jelly beans. We created glyph bird nests... Each thing on the above bird nest stands for something. My bird is blue because I was born in this state. It is in the nest because I have seen a bird eat. One egg is cracked because I've seen an egg hatch. There are an odd number of eggs because I am an odd number of years old. The branch is pointing to the left because I've seen a nest in a tree. All the kids created one too and we put them in a tree (which you can check out on my other blog... http://acrossmo.blogspot.com/ that I have with my best friends).

Oh and if you didn't, check out the widget on the side to listen to some Schuyler Fisk! She's one of my favorite artists currently. She's actually Sissy Spacek's daughter and does mostly acoustical stuff. I first heard her in the movie: I Am Reed Fish in which she acts and sings. I loved the song she did in the movie and had to find out more. If anybody wants to buy me a gift, you could buy me her album. Perhaps my birthday? Hahaha. It's less than two months away now.... ;)

Totally just kidding.

Alright... Gotta get the motivation to work out some more tonight. I did about a half hour of Wii Sports (tennis and boxing). But I also played some Mario Galaxy which is not quite the workout I need, lol. I plan to do some stepping while I watch America's Next Top Model and Real World/ Road Rules Challenge tonight! It's my favorite way to get some exercise because I can watch tv while I do it! Unfortunately I can't watch Lost tonight because I missed the whole last half of last week's episode when my Maamaa called (I'm not complaining... I just haven't had the chance to catch it online yet).
