Happy News!

So I went to the doctor today and good news! I don't have to have surgery again! Yay! I get to keep my tongue muscles fully attached to my hyoid bone! Yay! Because it hasn't drained since before my last visit, he said he isn't concerned and doesn't want to go back in unless it starts draining again. He said it has healed and scarred oddly and he doesn't like it but it's up to me whether he does a scar revision which would be done in the office and simple. He did say that if he does that, he'd like to wait for winter because the summer heat would be bad for it it and it would heal more nicely in the winter. So I am definitely all for that... but it's something that can wait. So now we just sit back and hope it's finished draining. Again he marvelled at how abnormal and ridiculously mysterious the whole thing has been. Go me.

We started hatching eggs today! Yay! All of mine have little cracks and you can hear little baby chirping. And one of them was rocking back and forth... so maybe when I get to school tomorrow, we will have a chick!
