It seems they start merchandising and advertising for Christmas earlier and earlier each year. I've refrained and held back as long as I could... but here we go: My annual wish list. Before posting new things, let's take a quick look back to last year's list.
1. Garmin. Check. Well, not a Garmin but a GPS and it has definitely come in handy this past year. Without it, I may still be driving around lost in Jeff. City. Yes... it helped me find my boyfriends house every time.
2. David Benoit CD. Check. Technically though I don't own the cd... But I did borrow my mom's long enough to burn it!
3. Glee Soundtrack Volume 2. Yep. Bought this for myself and was slightly let down that it wasn't as awesome as volume 1. But still enjoy it.
4. Arrested Development Season 1. Nope. Not yet. You can buy it for me if you want!
5. Zune Points. Well, yes and no. I did get some but I've used most of them and am always open for more!
6. AT&T U-Verse. Nope. Still not available in my neck of the woods. But that's okay. I'm locked in for two years with Charter now... Put this one on hold.
7. A Teleportation Device... Nope. Still waiting on this one. Somebody please?!?
8. A kiss. Yeah... I got lots of those this past year but more would be nice.
9. A Roku Digital Video Player. Nope. And I've crossed it off the list. Why? Because even better, I can stream Netflix through my Wii!
Not too bad.
Dear Santa,
You made most of my dreams come true last year. Have I been just as good this year as Iwas last year? I think so. Maybe even better. So here are a few things (in no particular order) I've been thinking might be nice.
1. A RumbaTime watch. They are so cute and I can see myself getting addicted to these as I am to flip flops! I mean... they come in so many awesome colors that I coordinate to ANY outfit.
2. Toms Shoes. Because when I get a pair, another pair is given to child in need. How freaking awesome is that?!? Not only that but they are cute, comfortable, and have a good arch support. I'd like either some glitters or a neutral color in the classics. Something I can wear all the time.
3. Sleepwalk with Me: and Other Painfully True Stories by Mike Birbiglia. Seriously. I've almost bought this book for myself so many times but I'm trying to be all budget conscious... Written by one of my favorite comedians, the excerpt I've read is HILARIOUS and probably something I'd read numerous times. Especially on those sleepless nights.
4. Beauty and the Beast on DVD. Again... something I've almost bought myself numerous times. Having Beauty and the Beast on DVD would just about complete my top five animated Disney Classic collection.
5. Money. I know it's tacky but seriously, cash would really help me out. Just pay off some debt... It seems like there is always something and I don't feel I am even chipping away at my mountain of debt right now. Especially after surgery last week and the bills that will soon be coming for that.
6. Tickets for Cardinals games and/or Blues games.
I am sure there are other things but that's about all I can think of right now...
Happy Holiday shopping!
