I am thankful for the technology that allows me to keep in touch with my far away family and friends. How cool is it that my brother and I can read the bible with each other from hours apart? And how cool is it that he can read the bible online since he doesn't own one? And I think it's awesome that I can look at my phone at lunch time and have a joke waiting for me from a friend at the lake. Or that with the touch of a few buttons, I've let everybody I know know that I am not feeling well. Amazing!
I'm thankful for the little kindnesses I witness each day. For the dozen or so kids that put my name on their thankful turkeys, even when I only see them a few short hours a week. Talk about heart warming.
